The Restaurant

Ambassadors Clubhouse is a Mayfair restaurant and bar celebrating the food, drink, music and culture of Punjab. It is part of JKS Restaurants, the group behind Gymkhana, Trishna and Brigadiers.

Named after the founders’ grandfather, a former Ambassador, the space draws inspiration from his residence in Northern India and the region’s abandoned party mansions. It reflects the warmth of Punjabi hospitality through the sharing of food and liquor.

The menus highlight the rich culinary heritage of North India’s Punjab, drawing on flavours from roadside stalls, family kitchens, and royal palaces. Rare recipes and traditional techniques are carefully preserved, allowing the cuisine to shine in its most authentic form.

Cocktails bring a sense of theatre and generosity, alongside large serves and a playful selection of shots, with an all-day drinks list that moves seamlessly from lunch into late-night celebrations.

After hours, AMBASSY comes to life on the lower ground floor, a dedicated music space hosting leading global artists throughout the year from the Punjabi music scene and beyond.

In 2026, Ambassadors Clubhouse was awarded one Michelin Star, becoming the first Punjabi restaurant in the UK to receive this honour.

The Position

As the Bar Manager you will combine your beverage expertise with strong leadership abilities to ensure exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will jointly oversee the restaurant’s drinks programme and help to deliver a smooth and efficient service. Share your passion for hospitality through engaging briefings & beverage training on and off the floor.

The Successful Bar Manager will have:

Prior experience as a Bar Manager within a premium restaurant or bar;
Warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail;
Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team;
Passion for hospitality and a excellent knowledge of food and beverage; WSET preferred
Eagerness to learn and develop your career within an award-winning restaurant group.
Experience working in a Mayfair restaurant is preferred.

As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for:

Work closely with our Head of Bars to create and develop the brand’s beverage offering.
Inspiring, motivating and training our staff on all aspects of the bar at Berenjak.
Leading on the financial performance of the bar, including GP targets, labour control and sales forecasting.
Focusing on staff development and team training, helping to drive beverage sales and improve product knowledge.
Building & leading a highly skilled bar team to deliver outstanding guest experience.
Taking charge of stock management and cost control.
